Laundry Assistant (Bank)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Laundry Assistant to join us at Shawside Care Village! 🌷
Who we are looking for 🔍
We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in working within a caring environment and wants to make a real difference in people’s lives. You’ll take pride in your work, have great attention to detail and help us maintain a high standard for our residents.
Previous laundry, housekeeping or care experience would be ideal, although this is not essential as full training will be provided. 🙌🏼
Responsibilities đź“š
Within the role, you will be responsible for:
Washing and drying residents’ clothing, bedding and towels
Ironing laundry where required
Ensuring residents’ clothing is correctly labelled, organised and returned to the correct resident
Keeping the laundry area and equipment clean and well maintained
Following infection control and health & safety procedures
Providing support with general housekeeping duties when required

Bank Contract
£12.71 per hour 🙌🏼
