Bloomcare is looking for a passionate Saturday Chef/Cook to join our friendly care home team in Southport.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing delicious, well-balanced meals that support the health and happiness of our residents — all within a supportive and well-organised kitchen environment.
About the Role 🔎
Saturday position only
Working hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Preparing and serving high-quality, nutritious meals
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
Working both independently and as part of a close-knit team
What We’re Looking For 🍽️
A genuine passion for cooking fresh, nutritious food
City & Guilds 706 Parts 1 & 2 (or equivalent), or willingness to work towards it
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Good communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
